Frequently asked questions.

The Azaan Box works with Masjids that are registered and active on our platform. To check if your Masjid is already supported, get in touch with us and we'll confirm. We're continuously adding new Masjids across Canada, so if yours isn't listed yet, let us know and we'll work to get it added.
Yes! Contact your Masjid committee and ask them to reach out to us at azaan.box101@gmail.com. We'll arrange for a streaming device to be installed at the Masjid so the broadcast can be received by Azaan Box devices in the community.
On a typical month, the Azaan Box uses around 500MB of data — this covers all five daily Azaans plus any Salaah or announcements your Masjid broadcasts. During Ramadan, with Taraweeh prayers being streamed, usage can go up to approximately 1GB for the month.
We want to be upfront about this. Since the Azaan Box streams audio over the internet, a working Wi-Fi connection is required at all times. There may also be a short audio delay — typically a few seconds — between the live broadcast at the Masjid and what you hear at home. This is normal and is influenced by the Masjid's internet connection, our servers, and your own internet speed. It does not affect the Azaan experience in any meaningful way.
No problem at all. We've put together a visual Screen Guide that explains every screen your device can show — what it means and exactly what to do. You can also contact us directly and we'll walk you through it.
